Delicious Compound Butter

I have been meaning to put this recipe together for awhile now.
The beauty of compound butter is three-fold...1) easy, 2) versatile, and 3) custom-made!

Compound butter can be used in place of regular butter in meal preparation or to top individual servings of mashed or baked potatoes/steamed veggies/cooked steaks, or simply as a spread on hot, fresh bread or crackers.

My butter consisted of the following:
Garlic powder, Garlic Blend (which consists mostly of garlic powder), Coarse Sea Salt, Smoked Paprika, Onion Powder, Fresh ground Black Pepper, and, of course, a stick of softened Butter.

Since this was the first time I prepared this, I basically used 1/4 teaspoon of each of the dry ingredients, with the exception of the smoked paprika (1/8 teaspoon).

Mix all the ingredients.

Once mixed, scrape together all the creamy goodness.

Place the mixture onto waxed paper.

Use a butter knife to spread the mixture back into a stick of butter, then wrap in wax paper and scotch-tape before refrigerating. (Maybe I will shape it into a log next time.)

Once fully hardened, I sprinkled pats of butter with dried parsley, and stored in this small container; would look great in a decorative crock as a spread.

The outcome...pure goodness! Now my mind is racing for other possible combinations, such as blending berries & Domino Light for topping bagels and English muffins, oh my! One thing is for sure...one stick just won't be enough.
